This is the time of the year when the temperature finally starts cooling down, the leaves start changing color and falling to the ground, and the wind whistles. But for us bookloves, its also the time to find some disturbing, yet frightening books. Its the time when we bring out our creepy , and scavenge the shelves for books to satisfy our hunger for this exact time of the year.
It time for Halloween. Lucky for you, I found the perfect book.

Samantha finds herself walking along a road, with no recollection of who she is or what happened the night before.

Samantha is thrown into this world full of surprises and is forced to pick up the pieces. As her first week "home" goes by she figures out who she use to be-and she doesn't like a bit of it.
The old Samantha was mean-just to be on top, along with her friends. Her best friend was more like a frenemy. Her perfect boyfriend; was clingy, there were no butterflies. At least not with him........
If only Samantha could remember what happened that night she might be able to move on. There is someone who doesn't want her to remember. Threatening notes leads Samantha to wondering, could this be Cassie's murderer? Was Samantha suppose to die along with Cassie and why did this person want them dead?


This book is my definition of a perfect Halloween read. Suspenseful, intriguing, and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. This was my first Jennifer L. Armentrout book and it for sure, won't be my last! Her writing is gripping; will take hold of you and won't let you go.
I gave this book a 5/5 stars. It is definitely going to make it to my top 14 reads of 2014 and is my favorite book I read in September. I highly encourage you to pick it up, even if this genera isnt your favorite, this should make everyones top book lists of the year!
